Ibeju-Lekki LG and Ade Otukomaya Foundation Celebrate Matriculation of Youths in Skills Training Program

It was a delightful moment yesterday as the youths sponsored by the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government in partnership with the Ade-Otukomaya foundation, to acquire training in industrial welding, plumbing and electrical installation, held their matriculation ceremony.

This journey towards a successful bright future will take six months at the end of which they’ll be awarded the city and guild certificate.

This is wishing the new entrants, success in their endeavours.

CITY AND GUILD TRAINING FOR VOCATIONAL SKILL ACQUISITION, STUDENTS RESUMPTION ON MONDAY

This is to inform successful applicants of the City and Guild Vocational Skill Training anchored by Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Council and the Ade-Otukomaya foundation to report to the Council Secretariat on Monday, March 24, 2025, at 7:30 am for onward movement to the Lagos State Cooperative College (LASCOCO).

Parents and guardians should note that punctuality is of high essence as the train of movement takes place immediately.

Foundation partners Ibeju-Lekki LGA on youth empowerment

A non-governmental organisation, The Ade-Otukomaya Foundation, has partnered with Ibeju-Lekki local government area to empower underprivileged youths through educational support and vocational training initiatives.

The NGO donated 150 free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms to indigent students and pledged sponsorship for vocational training in diverse technical fields.
